The Third Sunday in Lent. For those unable to attend church.

Welcome to the first week of Sunday Resources which have been prepared to cater for those who feel unable to attend services at this time of Coronavirus concerns or whose regular service has had to be cancelled. 

Morning Prayer

You may choose from one of the following services which are available in both rtf and pdf formats.  Each service includes the lectionary readings, hymns and prayers. Links to online readings and hymns are provided. You may need to skip ads which come up on YouTube.

Livestreaming Services

The Dublin cathedrals each provide live web streams of services. These may be found at:

This Sunday Christ Church Cathedral has a service at 11.00am and St Patrick’s Cathedral has services at 9.15am, 11.15am and 3.15pm.

[From Monday to Friday, while Christ Church Cathedral is closed to regular operations, Morning Prayer (at 10 am) and Evening Prayer (at 5 pm) will be said each day (with the exception of the St Patrick’s Day bank holiday) and may be viewed on their webcam.]

RTE Sunday Service

This Sunday’s RTE Service on RTE One television is at 11.10am. 

It is a bilingual service with Cumann Gaelach na hEaglaise Rev Tony Murphy, Celebrant; Canon Gary Hastings, Preacher; Choir from Ashton School, under the Musical Director, Mary G O Brien and Antoinette Baker, Accompanist.
